Boarding

 At Zick Acres, we take immense pride in delivering the highest quality care for your cherished horse. With our extensive experience, you can be confident that your equine companion will receive the focused attention and expert care necessary for their health and well-being. To ensure the safety and health of all our horses, we require that all boarding horses are current on their vaccinations, have a negative Coggins test on file, and participate in our farm's regular deworming schedule. 

Rest assured, your horse's safety and security are paramount in the design of our farm. From the reliable fencing that encloses our pastures to our well-constructed and secure stalls, we've thoughtfully implemented every precaution to ensure your horse is safe and protected around the clock. Barn hours: 

• Winter- 8am-8pm
• Summer- 8am-10pm

Zick Acres boasts a beautiful and spacious riding arena, complete with engaging trail obstacles for a varied riding experience. In addition to the arena, our boarders are also invited to enjoy leisurely rides along the extensive dirt roads that border our farm, offering miles of exploration. 

 Our skilled farrier has extensive experience working with horses across various breeds and disciplines, providing expert care for both routine trims and shoeing needs.

We also welcome you to schedule appointments with your preferred farrier.

Please note that if you choose to use our farrier, payment for their services is due at the time of the appointment. Additionally, a $10 holding fee will be added to your next month's board if my assistance is required to hold your horse for the farrier.

We offer two convenient boarding options to suit your horse's needs:

Stall Board: $400 per month 

Pasture Board: $350 per month

Both options provide comprehensive care, including hay, grain, and daily turnout. Our standard grain is sweet feed, but you are welcome to supply your own feed if you prefer; however, the boarding cost will remain the same. We take pride in growing the majority of our hay, which is a high-quality blend of timothy, orchard, and alfalfa, ensuring excellent nutrition for your horse.

At Zick Acres, our private setting offers a tranquil and peaceful environment for both you and your horse. You can have complete peace of mind knowing that we'll care for your beloved companion as if they were our own, ensuring their well-being and happiness around the clock.
